Does anyone know who owns a car wash in Taos, NM. I have a friend who needs to contact the owner. Thanks, Eric

Is it the doublebay Vector location? I know the guy who used to own it and could probably track down the new owner.

A guy from another forum I'm in (not carwash related) was complaining that some guy bought ALL of the car washes in town and now he cannot get his car clean anywhere because of lack of soap. He was going to get a pressure washer for his house and asked what is similar to a professional car wash. I was going to try to contact the owner and do what I could to get him back on track. I don't know how I was going to do that without seeming like a total a-hole.

Tell him to remember he's trying to wash his car in the middle of a DESERT! All the washes have to use some sort of reclaim out there, quality might suffer as a result.

He had no problems when the other owner had it.

The new guy ought to be able to give away washes, if it's the 2-bay Vector you're speaking of, the original owner gave it away just to be rid of it. The original owner/builder picked my brain and visited our site often to gather information about building a wash. I was shocked when he told me he was building one in another state. Tried to run the Taos wash from central Texas, but did have a house there too, so writing off his ski trips was the only bonus. I tried to tell him, but...

Raisetheprice.
I use reclaim water in the desert and achieve extremely good results. In fact, my soap supplier is completely amazed at the quality of my touchfree washes.
I guess you must have experience with substandard reclaim systems, which certainly do exist.
I am quite happy with my Sobrite system.

I'm sure you can make any system run correctly...but you have to be around to make sure. Not in another state.
