What bay lights to purchase??

Im ready to replace the 175watt (2 per bay) wall mount lights in my 4/2 wash. Also the 20' lamps in the parking lot, any input on the brands or the place to purchase would be great. I want to really light the place up.
My power is 208 3 phase.

For bay lighting, take a look at the LSI scottsdale line. Lots of satisfied users.

LSI Scottsdale 320 watt ceiling mount, or the LSI Crossover LED fixtures. The LEDs are expensive, but you should get a payback in just under 36 months.

I think the general consensus now is that Induction Lighting is the best bang for the buck.

The city where I live is in the process of replacing all street, parking, ball parks, arenas, etc, lighting. ROI is a year.

2 on each sidewall about 9 feet up, each about 2 feet in from the end.

How many per bay? How low of an air temp have you operated them at?

You can buy 42 watt LIthonias CFLs at home depot for under $40 each. Much cheaper than the $110 units in the link . I use 6 of them per automatic bay.

I am revamping an old 6 bay SS and looking at the T5's as being lower cost to operate and just as much output as the scottsdales. Anyone have problems with them getting broke or operating issues? Thanks

The power company will pay for most of a retro kit to replace the T-12 bulbs and ballasts with a T-8 Kit.

You need an enclosed fixture to minimize problems with any fluorescents. The lens will also protect them against breakage.

I put four of these http://www.simkar.com/en3/en3.html in one bay with 32W T8 bulbs. The light was decent, but nowhere near what the two Scottsdales that were in there put out with new bulbs and capacitors. I plan to change them to 54W T5 bulbs/ballasts and wire them so only two bulbs in two fixtures are on after midnight.
