Milan dragway is IHRA. Not sure why we needed to be told not to drink while drag racing?

Exactly, when running 13 seconds or less there is plenty of time before and after :D

Very nice, what engine were you running?

It is in the mini 2-wheel class, back then it was limited to 366 ci, and hyd. cams, and 2-barrell carb. I have not pulled it about 5 years and the class has really changed since then, so to answer your question it is a 366 small block mopar

I have owned a couple mopars, but I am mostly a GM (olds) guy. Did you start with a 318, 340 or 360?

It was a 360 opened up to just 366, aluminum rods, pistons with special order rockers for a longer ratio because the rules limited the cam lift so I got a little more lift with the rockers. I filled the block with block fill and only run cooling water thru the heads.
The heads are really opened up and port matched intake with holley 2-barrell.
only thing holding it back is the small carb that only flows so much......

What cars did you race?

I drag race the 69 olds that is my avatar. We bracket race in the Pro class (no box). It is all steel with the seats and carpet. I run a 68 HO 455 bored .030 over. Nothing fancy but it is consistant and very reliable! Last year I just drove it on the street. Half the year I insured my 68 cutlass convertable and the remainer of the year I drove the 69. I just put it back into storage this week.
